We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Stroke Treatment and Recovery Unit (STAR) at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse on our Stroke Treatment and Recovery Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals with stroke and medical conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to provide comprehensive care to patients
Requirements
  • RN License
  • BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of the date of hire
  • BLS Certification is required
  • ACLS Certification preferred (required within 6 months of hire)
  • One year of experience as an RN is required
  • RN experience in Med Surg and Acute Care preferred
