Job Title: Breakfast Server

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Breakfast Server to join our team at DoubleTree Galveston. As a Breakfast Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by preparing and serving breakfast in a friendly and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare breakfast bar for hotel guests, including setting up the buffet and displaying food and beverages in an organized and attractive manner.
• Frequently check the buffet line for low food supply and efficiently replenish with food, beverages, and/or supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the buffet area throughout the morning by reorganizing and tidying food area as necessary.
• Properly dispose of used plates, utensils, napkins, and/or cups as necessary, and remove and dispose of leftover food at the end of the breakfast shift.
• Clean the buffet area according to established standards and ensure inventory is stocked and properly stored prior to the next day's shift.

Requirements:

• Current Food Handler's certificate or ServSafe certification is required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, push, bend, and reach; stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Ability to move, set up, and tear down restaurant equipment, including chairs, tables, linens, service ware, etc.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
