Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Surgery team at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a Surgery nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide individualized patient care and assume responsibility for the provision of nursing care for geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric patients.
- Coordinate and provide patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, and AORN Standards of care.
- Identify risks, hazards, and mitigation efforts of unsafe practices.
- Must have experience working as a Circulating RN and have strong trauma, ortho, neuro, and Davinci skills or be able to attend one of StaRN + cohorts.
- Must have strong critical thinking and multitasking skillset.
- Must have a minimum of 1-year Operating Room experience.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Graduation from a school of nursing required.
- Current Missouri RN license or Multistate RN License from a participating compact state required.
- BCLS required.
- CNOR preferred.
