About the Role

Fusion Lifestyle is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Catering Assistant to join our team. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our café.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, establishing their requirements and suggesting suitable products.
  • Take customer orders, process, prepare, and serve food and drink orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Seek customer feedback, acting on it personally and escalating it when necessary.
  • Operate a range of equipment safely, tidily, and hygienically, conducting basic record-keeping tasks and reporting any non-compliance.
  • Conduct basic equipment and maintenance checks, reporting any areas of non-compliance.
  • Fill and replenish food and drink displays, ensuring they are presented, merchandised, and priced correctly.
  • Receive and store food and drink deliveries, performing café set-up and close-down processes as required.
  • Ensure correct payment is taken for orders and processed accurately through the till.
  • Perform cleaning tasks, championing hygiene and health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate Fusion's values at all times.
