Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Engineer 2 to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing Procurement Engineering activities to support Plant Operations, including determining technical procurement requirements and maintaining configuration control.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, science, or a related field, and at least two years of experience in a similar role. They will also possess strong communication and data analysis skills, as well as proficiency in PC and computer skills, including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and Hyperion.
Key Responsibilities- Execute Procurement Engineering activities to support Plant Operations
- Determine technical procurement requirements utilizing the plant design basis
- Maintain configuration control
- Assist with the implementation of Procurement Engineering processes and programs
- Support Business Units' Emergency Response activities as assigned
- Assist with the analysis of equipment commercial grade dedication material evaluations and classifications and replacement and reverse engineering analysis
- Complete Procurement Engineering training and qualification requirements
Minimum Qualification - Engineer 2:
Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, science, or a related field with two (2) years experience.
Preferred Qualification:
PC and computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Passport, Hyperion). Communication (verbal, written) skills. Data analysis skills.
