PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

This role involves advanced technical and engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations, serving as a vital resource and technical authority for engineering teams. The position entails making critical technical decisions and requires a deep understanding of the functional discipline and its practical applications, along with comprehensive knowledge of relevant industry codes and regulations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

+ Deliver expert technical guidance to design, oversee, and execute engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
+ Offer technical advice and consultation through direct engagement and as a subject matter expert to identify and rectify equipment and system issues.
+ Assume engineering and technical leadership responsibilities for both short-term and long-term initiatives impacting site operations.
+ Execute engineering tasks as delegated by management, applying sound engineering principles.
+ Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, maintaining proper configuration management and adherence to standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes in the preparation of plans and specifications.
+ Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support technical projects and programs.
+ Propose equipment, innovative concepts, and methodologies to enhance performance, streamline construction, reduce costs, rectify design or material deficiencies, or comply with regulatory changes.

LEVELS OF ENGINEERING ROLES

This engineering position can be filled at Mid, Senior, or Senior Staff Engineer levels. Please refer to the minimum qualifications outlined below for each level.

Expected Salary Range:

Mid-level: $88,000
Senior Level: $115,000
Senior Staff Level: $138,000

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

For Mid-level E02 Engineer:
+ B.S. in Engineering with 2+ years of nuclear or related engineering experience.

For Senior E03 Engineer:
+ B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer with 5+ years of engineering experience.

For Senior Staff E04 Engineer:
+ B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer with 10+ years of engineering experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

+ Professional Engineer Registration.
+ Advanced technical degree or relevant coursework.
