Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical issues
  • Determine the most cost-effective solution for machine parts repair or replacement
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime
  • Prepare and submit requisitions for spare and repair parts
  • Collaborate with outside contractors to complete project work
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
  • Assist and advise engineering and other support groups as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and paperwork
  • Train and assist operators as required
  • Perform periodic maintenance on machines
  • Participate in team problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Use various testing devices and chemicals according to guidelines and procedures
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently
  • Understand and comply with environmental regulations and safety protocols
  • Wear personal protective equipment as required
  • Be responsible and accountable for work periods, machinery, equipment, and tools
  • Understand and adhere to the company's quality policy
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; successful completion of pre-hire math test
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance function
  • Electrical, electronic, pneumatic, mechanical, and hydraulic analysis and repair skills
  • Forklift operation experience
