Job Title: Drying Associate

Job Summary:
QPS Employment Group is seeking a Drying Associate to join our team in Waverly, NE. This 1st shift position offers a competitive wage of $18.00 per hour and opportunities for advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate drying equipment to achieve optimal moisture levels in primed and coated seeds.
  • Monitor and maintain drying processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production teams to meet production targets and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and report any malfunctions to the maintenance team.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in drying and agronomy.

Requirements:

  • Basic math and computer skills required.
  • Forklift experience is a plus, but not necessary.
  • Ability to read and interpret laboratory and production practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Biological Sciences, or a related field is a plus.
