Job Summary:

This role requires providing high-quality, patient-centered care in line with departmental requirements and state-specific nursing standards.

Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will deliver personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.

You will also serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure exceptional patient experiences and positive clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' conditions during admission and scheduled shifts, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in patients' medical records.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic responses, and take appropriate action in the event of unintended medication reactions.
  • Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about patients' medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.

Requirements:

  • BASIC CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT CERTIFICATION
  • REGISTERED NURSE LICENSE AND DIPLOMA
