About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Solis Mammography. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Operate x-ray equipment and perform mammography-related diagnostic procedures with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Position and expose patients for optimal imaging results, ensuring a high level of patient comfort and satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and other employees to provide excellent customer service and promote a positive patient experience.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and quality control standards.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and current certification by ARRT in Radiography.
  • ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible.
  • Current licensure in the state of work location and knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software preferred.
  • Two years of experience in mammography and prior quality control experience preferred.
