Temporary Lecturer Position in Chemistry and Biochemistry

We are seeking highly qualified individuals to join our pool of part-time lecturers in the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department at California State University. As a part-time lecturer, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of courses in chemistry and biochemistry, and contribute to the academic success of our students.
Responsibilities- Teach courses in chemistry and biochemistry, including general education and upper-division courses
- Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching methods
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Participate in departmental and university service activities
- Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field is required
- Doctoral degree in Chemistry or a related field is preferred
- Experience in teaching chemistry and biochemistry courses
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in teaching at the college level
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation
- Experience in working with diverse student populations
The person holding this position is considered a 'mandated reporter' under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.
