Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Interpreting Professional to join our team at Carolina Therapy Services in Clinton, NC.

About the Job:

This role is an exciting opportunity to work with our experienced therapists and staff, providing high-quality interpretation services to patients and their families in an outpatient pediatric setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and efficient interpretation between Spanish and English during therapy sessions and phone conversations.
  • Assist with coordinating patient appointments, including scheduling and follow-up communications.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as filing, copying, and answering phones, as needed.
  • Support therapy staff with transferring patients to the therapy room and maintaining a clean and organized treatment area.
  • Report any patient concerns or issues to the Area Director or Program Manager.
  • Collaborate with the Outpatient Clinic Office Manager and clinicians to ensure accurate billing, documentation, and scheduling.
  • Attend training sessions and stay up-to-date on best practices and company policies.
  • Drive personal vehicle to patient appointments when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or interpreting preferred but not required.
