Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Greeting and Seating: Display a friendly attitude, greet and seat guests promptly and efficiently, and present them with clean menus.
  • Reception Area Maintenance: Keep the reception area clean and neat, ensuring a positive first impression for our guests.
  • Knowledge and Assistance: Be familiar with menu items, daily specials, and basic knowledge of food and ingredients to assist guests with their dining experience.
  • Room and Service Assistance: Assist guests in finding rooms, conference rooms, meeting rooms, and banquets when necessary, and provide information on hotel services and amenities.
  • Shift Transition and Menu Management: Ensure a smooth transition at shift change, remaining on duty until relief is present, and collect and inspect menus, discarding worn ones and replacing them as needed.
  • Reservation Book and Administrative Tasks: Maintain the accuracy and up-to-date status of the Reservation Book and assist managers with light administrative responsibilities as needed.
  • Teamwork and Flexibility: Be flexible, reliable, and available for scheduling due to business demands, and assist with bussing tables, pouring water, and resetting tables as needed.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a clean and organized reception area, and ensure accurate information is provided to guests.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing situations, and prioritize tasks effectively.
