Job Summary: Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Georgia is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our Kennesaw campus. As an LPN, you will provide direct care nursing and administer medications to youth and adolescents. This is a full-time position with every other weekend and holiday availability required.

About Devereux: Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Georgia is a national non-profit employer that offers a strong support system and is forward-thinking in their clinical practice and research. We foster a culture of reporting abuse and maintain policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct care nursing to youth and adolescents
  2. Administer medications and provide medical treatments
  3. Complete admissions and actively engage with the youth served and their families/guardians

Qualifications:

  • Completion of accredited LPN program and a current Georgia Nursing License required
  • Six months to one year of Nursing experience is highly preferred
  • Experience in psychiatric nursing with children or adolescents is a plus
