About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as part of our Nurse Residency Program. As a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of caregivers to provide world-class care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in a comprehensive residency core curriculum to develop your skills and knowledge as a Registered Nurse.
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, working closely with a coach to ensure the highest level of care.
  • Establish and prioritize patient care activities based on acuity of need, patient preference, and available resources.
  • Initiate and maintain interventions to ensure continuity of safe and effective care for patients.
  • Respond to data indicating risk to patient health and take action to correct, reduce, or prevent the risk.
  • Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when needed, and comply with established hospital and departmental policies.
  • Use effective communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes.
  • Document patient care in accordance with established guidelines.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) upon hire.
  • Additional certifications may be required based on the specific unit or department.
