Electrical Controls Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Automation Specialist to join our team at NorthPoint Search Group Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, automation, and controls, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, specifying, and testing control systems, as well as providing technical support and guidance to designers and engineering technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing control systems and instrumentation equipment, including electrical control panels
- Conducting analytical assessments and troubleshooting
- Initiating and leading projects independently
- Assisting with installation and commissioning tasks
- Modifying and upgrading existing systems
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong interpersonal communication and report writing skills
- Proactive problem-solving approach
- Proficiency in various computer skills, including the use of MS-Office Suite
- Working knowledge of CAD and similar design software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic & Electrical/Controls/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent experience
