Job Summary

This is a skilled position involving responsibility for the safe operation of heavy equipment and sampling Redi-Mix concrete materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety protocols and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in daily safety meetings and assist in plant production of materials
  • Ensure all assigned equipment is properly maintained, clean, and in safe working order
  • Operate front end loader, skidsteer, and other equipment as needed
  • Perform plant maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Safely and efficiently collect samples for testing
  • Perform sampling, testing, and reporting procedures according to established protocol
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • One to two years related experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
