Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Hospice Registered Nurse. This role will involve providing compassionate care to patients and their families in a patient-centered atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide and supervise direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities for patients in a hospice setting.
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on end-of-life care and advance care planning.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the North Carolina State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse.
  • BLS (or higher) certification.
  • Professional specialty certification (preferred).
  • Graduation from an accredited Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher), Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
