Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead our team in designing complex mechanical systems for data centers, airports, and other industrial/commercial projects. As a technical lead, you will be responsible for mentoring and training junior engineers, delegating design work, and providing leadership and technical expertise to our clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the mechanical engineering and design of data centers, airport, aerospace, and other industrial/commercial projects
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and design experience in HVAC systems, including selection of HVAC equipment, central HVAC plant systems, plumbing, and sprinkler fire protection systems
  • Apply local and national building codes, safety codes, and industry standards, including International Building Codes
  • Mentor and train junior engineers and delegate design work to project engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD staff
  • Provide leadership and technical expertise to clients and team members
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university
  • Years of verifiable professional experience in relevant areas
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer or Architect
  • Ability and willingness to obtain professional engineering licensure in multiple states
  • Extensive experience and proficiency in conducting engineering projects through all phases of development
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Ability to pass background checks, security screenings, or drug testing as required by clients and/or Federal contracts
  • Authorized to work in the United States
