We are seeking a skilled Gourmet Coffee Attendant to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. in The Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe. As a Gourmet Coffee Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing and serving gourmet coffee beverages while ensuring that all work areas are set up and maintained effectively.

This role requires attention to detail in order management, cleanliness, and adherence to hospitality standards, ensuring exceptional guest experiences. You will engage with guests, take their orders, and manage cash handling while upholding company policies and safety standards.

You will be responsible for setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc. Additionally, you will input orders into the cash register system and collect payment from customers. You will also take orders, record them in the MICROS system, and prepare food and coffee beverages.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. You should be able to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve gourmet coffee beverages
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Manage cash handling and operate the cash register system
  • Take orders and record them in the MICROS system
  • Prepare food and coffee beverages
