The Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe is seeking a skilled Gourmet Coffee Attendant Specialist to join their team.

Job Summary:

  • Prepare and serve gourmet coffee beverages to guests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to high standards of hospitality.
  • Engage with guests, take orders, and manage cash handling while upholding company policies and safety standards.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position located at The Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe in Truckee, California. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain work areas, including preparing necessary supplies and tools.
  • Clean all equipment and areas, locking doors as needed.
  • Input orders into the cash register system and collect payment from customers.
  • Take orders, record them in the MICROS system, and prepare food and coffee beverages.
  • Bus coffee cart areas and tables, ensuring they are clean and organized.
  • Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day.
  • Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • No related work experience is necessary.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
  • No license or certification is necessary.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $20.60 per hour, with benefits including health care, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, earned paid time off and/or sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and other life and wellness benefits.
