Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and HR Specialist to join the Wyyerd Group LLC team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of payroll accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Management
    • Process payroll, verify payroll data, and ensure accurate and timely payment of employees.
    • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to payroll, including tax withholding, benefits, and payroll deductions.
  • Data Management and Regulatory Reporting
    • Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
    • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Employee Management
    • Ensure accurate employee data and maintain employee records.
    • Communicate with employees and managers regarding payroll-related and HR inquiries.
  • Training and Development
    • Assign, track, and manage electronic trainings.
    • Maintain electronic personnel files.
  • New Hire Support
    • Provide support for new hires, including onboarding and benefits enrollment.
  • Compliance and Audits
    • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to payroll and benefits.
    • Provide support for audits related to payroll and benefits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll accounting.
  • Strong understanding of payroll accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with ADP strongly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
