Job Title: MRI Technologist (Per Diem)

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work as an MRI Technologist in our Waltham, Massachusetts location. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for exams, including positioning and instructing them on the procedure
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams
  • Perform quality control procedures on MRI equipment
  • Record and maintain accurate patient records
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
Requirements:
  • ARRT (MR) certification
  • Completion of a Medical Imaging Program
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and transfer patients as needed
