Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based nursing practices to ensure safe and excellent patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Administer medications using the latest technologies to ensure patient safety.
- Document patient care using electronic documentation systems.
- Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health and wellness.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient transitions and continuum of care.
- Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license.
- BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
- Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience or participation in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program.
- Maternal child services experience in a hospital setting, including labor and delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and well-baby nursery.
- ACLS and NRP certifications preferred.
