About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at Dignity Health Medical Foundation. As an Audiologist with our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients facing hearing challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, evaluate, and rehabilitate individuals with auditory impairments, and conduct vestibular/balance testing.
  • Develop and oversee hearing screening programs to detect individuals with hearing loss of all ages.
  • Network and meet with local regional providers to build relationships and ensure they are aware of the services provided by our clinic and role.
  • Perform speech or language screening, or other screening measures, for the purpose of initial identification and referral of persons with other communication disorders.
  • Administer and interpret behavioral and electrophysiologic measures of the peripheral and central auditory systems.
  • Evaluate and fit amplification devices, including assistive listening devices.
  • Determine the appropriateness of amplification systems for persons with hearing impairments, evaluates benefits, and provides counseling and training regarding their use.
  • Design, implement, and coordinate industrial and community hearing conservation programs.
  • Administer and interpret electrophysiological measurements of neural function.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience with a variety of populations.
  • Master's degree.
  • Valid California Audiology license, issued by the Speech Pathology and Audiology board (SPAB), and a valid California Hearing Aid Dispensers license.
  • National board certification is strongly desired by the American Board of Audiology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AuD or PhD degree.
Compensation

$56.27/hour.
