Dignity Health Medical Foundation, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team. As an Audiologist with Dignity Health, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients facing hearing challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and evaluations to identify and diagnose hearing impairments.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address hearing loss and related communication disorders.
  • Fit and dispense hearing aids and other amplification devices to patients.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on hearing conservation and management techniques.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in audiology and hearing science to provide evidence-based care.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Audiology or related field.
  • Valid California Audiology license and National Board Certification in Audiology (NBC-A) or American Board of Audiology (ABA) certification.
  • 3-5 years of experience in audiology, with a focus on adult or pediatric populations.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage complex interactions with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Familiarity with NOAH and proprietary hearing aid fitting software.
  • Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding procedures and medical terminology.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AuD or PhD degree in Audiology or related field.
