Clinical Education Specialist (RN)

At Luminis Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Education Specialist (RN) to join our team. This role is responsible for promoting the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective healthcare through the provision of expert clinical education and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional support to internal and external customers, meeting the needs of diverse age and cultural backgrounds.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate high-quality, cost-effective educational programs for staff, maintaining educational records.
  • Develop and implement orientation programs for new staff, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Collaborate with other departments and nursing areas to ensure consistency and avoid duplication in competencies and educational programs.
  • Promote the advancement of nurses by offering a variety of learning opportunities tailored to different stages of the Novice to Expert continuum.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Professional Development Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of three years as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.

Working Conditions and Equipment:

Employees in this position may be exposed to blood-borne pathogens. The physical demands of this role include light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
