Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled RMF Security Specialist to join our team at Booz Allen. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support in the areas of risk management, privacy, and information security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of a disciplined and structured process that integrates information security and risk management activities into the system development life cycle.
  • Assist Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) and Information System Security Engineers (ISSEs) in conducting annual continuous monitoring reviews of Privacy Controls according to NIST Appendix J.
  • Work with ISSOs, ISSEs, and Designated Authorizing Official (DAO) representatives to apply and implement Privacy Overlay controls.
  • Conduct research and investigate Personal Identifiable Information (PII) breaches to protect data and information under the Privacy Act.
  • Review and apply System of Records (SORNs) for Privacy Impact Assessments.
  • Use your RMF expertise and understanding of Privacy protection concepts to help the client make the best decisions to secure their mission-critical systems, infrastructure, and PII.
Requirements
  • Experience supporting a Federal Privacy Program.
  • Experience with the Risk Management Framework process.
  • Knowledge of the Privacy Act and Privacy Laws and Policies.
  • Knowledge of SORNs.
  • Knowledge of FISMA and NIST.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • HS diploma or GED.
  • Additional Qualifications:
    • Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW).
    • Ability to research, analyze, and communicate privacy matters with senior leadership.
    • Ability to process and resolve Privacy breaches and complaints.
    • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Possession of excellent organizational skills.
    • IAPP CIPP or CIPT Certification.

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
