Team Leader

As a Team Manager at Whole Foods Market, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of Prepared Foods team members. Your primary goal will be to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and maintain a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Customer Service: Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
- Operations: Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and labor control.
- Team Development: Identify and develop team members' skills and abilities, providing opportunities for growth and advancement.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve team members' performance.
- Experience: 24+ months of retail experience, including 12+ months of team leadership experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lead and motivate a team, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and operations-related applications.
- Certifications: Food safety certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for 6-8 hours, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Environmental Factors: Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals, temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
