About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Allina Health, providing exceptional care to individuals with mental health needs. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients and families to identify needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Vocational degree in Nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota or Wisconsin.
  • At least 1 year of experience in inpatient mental health or acute care nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health needs.
  • Certified Addictions Registered Nurse (CARN) or RN-BC Mental Health certification.
