Job Summary

Litehouse is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Control Technician I to join our team in Lowell, MI.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial instrumentation and control systems, including electrical, electronic, and pneumatic components.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and electronic circuits, mechanical linkage and telemetering systems, and PLC and SCADA software and hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installs, maintains, and repairs industrial instrumentation and control systems.
  • Conducts periodic preventative maintenance inspections of metering control instruments.
  • Lays out, installs, and places into service new metering, controlling, and recording devices.
  • Reads and interprets wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and specifications related to installations or major repair work.
  • Prepares and maintains records of work performed.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Three (3) years of full-time experience as an Controls & Instrument Technician.
  • Valid state driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to work outdoors under various climatic and geographic conditions.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time in front of a computer.
  • Repetitive use of feet and hands to operate vehicles, equipment, and tools.
  • Ability to speak to verbally exchange ideas and information.
  • Ability to hear to receive verbal detailed information and instruction.
