Position Overview:

The Room Cleaning Specialist is tasked with the thorough cleaning and maintenance of guest accommodations to ensure a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for visitors. This role is essential in making certain that all rooms are pristine and inviting, while also addressing guest inquiries with professionalism and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare rooms for the cleaning process
  • Make beds and arrange linens
  • Dust surfaces and furnishings
  • Restock guestroom and bathroom amenities
  • Sanitize bathrooms
  • Organize closets
  • Vacuum carpets and maintain flooring
  • Inspect and secure rooms
  • Assist guests with borrowed items (e.g., irons and ironing boards)
  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including hallways
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain active for extended periods
  • Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Handle guest calls, requests, and concerns in assigned areas
  • Perform additional tasks as required
Qualifications:

  • Preferred secondary school diploma
  • Previous experience in the hospitality sector is advantageous
  • Familiarity with industrial cleaning tools and products is a plus
  • Professional demeanor is essential
