Job Title: Physician Assistant

MARS Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our client in Fort Worth, TX.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform physical exams and patient observations to assess health status and identify potential issues.
  • Record patients' medical histories and symptoms to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Create patient care plans and contribute to existing ones to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests to diagnose health issues and develop treatment plans.
  • Monitor and operate medical equipment to ensure accurate and safe patient care.
  • Diagnose health issues and create a plan of care for patients, including administering medicine and other treatments as needed.
  • Detect changes in patients' health and modify treatment plans accordingly.
  • Consult with healthcare professionals and families to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Train patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury.
  • Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities to promote patient well-being.
  • Facilitate the patient's transition within and between health care settings to ensure seamless care.
  • Monitor and provide start-up status of clinics to ensure efficient operations.
  • Provide coverage to additional clinic locations as needed and assigned.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in family medicine as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing/Physician Assistant Program.
  • Current Registered PA License in the State of Texas.
  • Current PA License in the State of Texas.
  • Current Board Certification in adult primary care or family practice specialty area.
  • Current Medicare provider enrollment with active PTAN number.
  • Current TX Medicaid provider enrollment with active TPI number.
  • Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Current provider card in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or willingness to obtain upon hire.
  • Current DEA License, or ability to obtain DEA license upon hire.
  • Experience in geriatric care preferred.
  • Previous experience with Athena EMR, preferred.
