Position Summary
The Senior Physician and Provider Relations and Outreach (PPRO) Liaison, Cardiovascular Service Line Specialist, is responsible for researching and understanding service line volumes, utilization, market share, competitor data, and physician referral patterns for assigned lines of business. This role requires knowledge of key business drivers, related medical trends, and service line performance metrics. The successful candidate will leverage internal and external data to create strategic business development plans for each service line, supporting the company's strategic vision and goals.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an extension of hospital leadership and operations, focusing on key internal and external customers to impact hospital market share.
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external customers, including physicians and providers, to leverage their voice and drive high engagement.
- Exhibit a strong command of the market environment by providing strategic direction and intel to inform market growth strategies and service line growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with hospital CEOs and Physician leaders to develop and implement service line goals and objectives.
- Identify opportunities for business development leadership.
- Demonstrate high strategic focus and create data-driven growth plans that are regularly presented to facility leadership.
- Display high business acumen skills and experience in leveraging data to inform strategic growth plan development.
- Meet targets for assigned service lines.
- Analyze data and track results.
- Maintain accurate account and contact information in CRM tools.
- Prospect for new business to increase market share growth.
- Manage effective target lists and demonstrate effective reach and frequency.
- Communicate key service line messages that are created and aligned to marketing growth strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5 years of demonstrated sales experience or relevant work experience.
- 1 year of Provider Relations Liaison experience required or 3 years of hospital or healthcare experience.
- Previous hospital and healthcare experience.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software, preferred.
Cardiovascular Specialist Qualifications
- Experience spending time in the hospital cardiovascular departments and building successful relationships with CV services department leadership, including surgery and lab schedulers.
- Demonstrated understanding of operating room, EP, and cath lab operations, preferred.
- Demonstrated success in building strategic relationships with physicians, especially cardiology specialists.
- Demonstrated healthcare sales success.
- This role will focus on driving KPIs relative to the cardiovascular service line.
- This role will focus on strategies to deliver high physician satisfaction relative to cardiovascular services service line.
