Research Scientist II Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist II to join our team at South Dakota Mines. As a Research Scientist II, you will be responsible for conducting research in environmental science, water resources, and water quality. You will utilize statistical tools to analyze temporal and spatial data and collaborate with state and federal agencies and nongovernmental organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research in environmental science, water resources, and water quality

  • Mentor junior group members and present work at scientific meetings
  • Prepare scientific publications and contribute to ongoing research
Requirements:

  • Significant experience with freshwater ecosystems, statistical analysis, and field experience
