Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer Retail to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our retail systems, including POS and payments software, integrations, and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering team in conceptualizing, designing, developing, and maintaining POS Payments, Client engagement tools with focus on continuous delivery in Agile manner.
  • Oversee the integration of advanced technologies in Stores with the modern Tory Burch platforms hosted in cloud, aiming for continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Assessing work estimation for large complex distributed solutions, ensuring timely delivery that is aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, for discovery, business analysis and delivering solutions on time.
  • Influence and Drive changes within Retail organization.
  • Contribute to writing standards for Retail/Stores from coding, security and hardware and software lifecycle management.
  • Present and provides inputs for Architecture review board.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering with focus on data and Retail POS, Payments and relevant hardware.
  • Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven track record of driving and delivering simple engineering solutions in a complex distributed retail store environment in Agile DevOps mode.
  • Strong knowledge of POS and Payments systems including OS(windows/iOS) Peripherals and hardware.
  • Proficiency in a minimum of one modern programming languages, platforms, and technologies such as Java, C#, Python and SQL with strong background of SOAP and Restful API with Aptos or relevant POS, Payments, Clienteling solutions.
