Role Summary
The Client Service Coordinator (CSC) is essential in managing the flow of clients and their pets within the facility. This role is pivotal in optimizing the efficiency of the veterinary team, ensuring effective communication with clients and staff, and coordinating care in a friendly and efficient manner, ultimately encouraging client loyalty and referrals.
Key Responsibilities
- Embody and promote the core values of the organization.
- Proactively attract new clients by showcasing hospital services and ensuring a seamless experience for clients and their pets.
- Enhance the number of pets attended to by the veterinary team through efficient operational practices.
- Deliver exceptional service consistently, which includes welcoming clients and their pets, ensuring their comfort, and providing education on pet health.
- Inform clients about wellness plans, preventive care, and available services.
- Assist new clients with necessary documentation and ensure accurate data entry for pet information.
- Support departing clients by providing comprehensive instructions, invoices, and scheduling future visits.
- Oversee financial transactions, maintaining accurate records and following proper procedures.
- Perform administrative tasks as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
This role requires prolonged computer use and comfort around various animals. The demands of the position may necessitate working beyond standard hours, including weekends and evenings. Exposure to a variety of pets and potential hazards is inherent to the role.
Qualifications
A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Candidates must be at least 18 years old for specific responsibilities. A minimum of one year of related experience is required, with a preference for those with a background in customer service. Experience in a medical environment, such as veterinary or healthcare, is advantageous.
