Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, you will be tasked with delivering exceptional, patient-focused care in accordance with departmental requirements and the established standards of practice for your specialty and state.

Working in tandem with medical professionals and the care team, you will provide tailored, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing frameworks such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure a superior patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate the patient's condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.

Execute procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by the medical provider(s), ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care in the patient's medical record.

- Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic responses, and take appropriate actions in the event of adverse reactions.

Deliver outstanding care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating their needs, and addressing them effectively.

Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by simplifying complex medical terminology.


Qualifications:
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Registered Nurse license.
Associate Degree.

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 150-bed facility that has been delivering high-quality healthcare for over 40 years. The hospital is recognized as the first Accredited Chest Pain Center in Sumner County and is a Certified Primary Stroke Center.
