Job Description

Mechanical Design Engineer

Satellite Industries, a leading provider of Vacuum Tank trucks for industrial and municipal applications, is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join its engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the development and improvement of our Vacuum Tank trucks, conceptualizing, designing, and optimizing vehicle components and systems to meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and objectives;
  • Develop conceptual designs for Vacuum Tank truck components and systems;
  • Utilize CAD software to create detailed design drawings and specifications;
  • Prototype and test design concepts to evaluate feasibility;
  • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components;
  • Support manufacturing and assembly processes by providing detailed design documentation.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and have a minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in the automotive, heavy equipment, vacuum tank truck, or transportation industries. A Master's degree is preferred.

Salary Range:$80,000 - $110,000 per year.Benefits:
