About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at ParkView Care Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication disorders, as well as communicating effectively with patients, clients, and colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid state license or eligibility to obtain a license in the state where services are provided. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with communication disorders, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, clients, and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
  • Supervise therapist assistants and students in direct patient care, ensuring that they provide high-quality services.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
  • Valid state license or eligibility to obtain a license in the state where services are provided.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
