We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Cancer Center. As a key member of our ambulatory clinic, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct care to patients with cancer, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Conduct thorough patient histories and physical exams, and communicate findings with the healthcare team.
• Apply advanced practice knowledge to identify and address complex patient care issues, and develop strategies to prevent or solve recurring problems.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and resources, and ensure seamless transitions between care settings.
• Develop and implement educational programs for nursing and support staff, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to advance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
• Master's degree in Nursing or a Master's degree from a NCCPA-accredited PA program.
• Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a certified NP/PA.
• At least 3 years of experience as an APP in oncology, with solid tumor experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and advancing the field of oncology.
