Key Responsibilities
  • Perform highly advanced restoration, renovation, and maintenance work on buildings, utility systems, and stationary equipment.
  • Conduct inspections, adjustments, and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, welding, carpentry, painting, and electrical.
  • Design and implement projects to modernize buildings and adapt them to new uses, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Lead construction, maintenance, or repair projects, establishing work schedules, assigning staff, and overseeing repairs or renovations.
  • Maintain safe and uninterrupted services to campus operations and programs systems.
  • Process paperwork and maintain records on work orders, projects, and material requisitions.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of building repair, maintenance, and operations, as well as electronics, boilers, painting, plastering, and carpentry.
  • Ability to perform maintenance, follow instructions, estimate materials, and apply proper methods, techniques, and procedures.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, or sketches and organize preventive maintenance programs.
  • Ability to supervise the work of others and work independently or with a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the maintenance and facility team.
