Job Summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is a dynamic and growing organization that offers a comprehensive range of services, including Physical, Occupational, Speech Therapy, Massage, and Acupuncture. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Front Desk Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients and visitors with a warm and inviting smile, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient records with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Generate reports, logs, and lists, including authorization and verification documents.
  • Manage co-pays and credit extended to patients, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Communicate with treating physicians to obtain updated prescriptions and plans of care.
  • Set up new and returning patient cases in Theraoffice, including demographic and insurance information.
  • Ensure treatment information is readily available by filing and retrieving patient records.
  • Maintain business office inventory and equipment, anticipating and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Adhere to Metro's rules and policies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
  • One year of experience in a Physical Therapy or medical office setting.
  • Experience with EMR systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in the Google Suite platform and ability to learn new programs quickly.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
