Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is a dynamic and growing organization that offers a comprehensive range of services, including Physical, Occupational, Speech Therapy, Massage, and Acupuncture. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Front Desk Coordinator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome patients and visitors with a warm and inviting smile, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records with accuracy and efficiency.
- Generate reports, logs, and lists, including authorization and verification documents.
- Manage co-pays and credit extended to patients, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Communicate with treating physicians to obtain updated prescriptions and plans of care.
- Set up new and returning patient cases in Theraoffice, including demographic and insurance information.
- Ensure treatment information is readily available by filing and retrieving patient records.
- Maintain business office inventory and equipment, anticipating and ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to Metro's rules and policies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- One year of experience in a Physical Therapy or medical office setting.
- Experience with EMR systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Proficiency in the Google Suite platform and ability to learn new programs quickly.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
