Project Manager - IT Implementation

An electric utility client is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to support day-to-day activities related to a technology implementation. The successful candidate will represent the IT project team for this high-visibility effort, which involves significant regulatory and operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate communication and coordination between IT, business units, and other project stakeholders.
  • Provide senior project manager continuous feedback and recommendations based on project observation and needs.
  • Assist the senior project manager in compliance and IT portfolio discussions.
  • Work with dedicated Scrum Master, senior IT project manager, OCM, and training on technology implementation activities.
  • Deliverables include revised integrated product delivery plans, detailed status reports, and strategic roadmap updates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 1-5 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in business and IT operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas and information to different audiences and levels.
  • Project management experience with strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with field resources, back office support, development teams, sponsors, and leadership.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Excel, with experience using pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
