Join Our Team as an Investment Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Investment Consultant to join our team at Charles Schwab in Menlo Park, CA. As an Investment Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their financial goals by providing expert advice and guidance on investment products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to identify their financial needs and provide tailored investment solutions.
  • Conduct needs-based analysis to understand clients' financial goals and objectives.
  • Position and recommend appropriate investment products and services to meet clients' needs.
  • Collaborate with other financial professionals to deliver exceptional client service and support.

Requirements:

  • A valid and active Series 7 license is required (license may be obtained under a condition of employment through Branch Network Licensing Program).
  • A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license is required (license(s) may be obtained under a condition of employment).
  • A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license is required (may be obtained under a condition of employment).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Ability to leverage business development experience.
  • Passion for gaining knowledge of brokerage/banking products and services.
  • Openness to build strong client relationships.
