We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Ruths Chris Steak House. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve beverages to guests, adhering to all RCSH specifications and procedures.
- Greet guests immediately, make beverage suggestions, and answer questions regarding food and beverage service.
- Take, record, and ring all food and beverage items ordered by guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar counter, back bar, bar work areas, shelving, and storage areas up to RCSH standards.
- Adhere to and comply with all state/local liquor laws and RCSH policies regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.
- Communicate to the Manager-on-Duty any and all situations where a guest may express concern or dissatisfaction with any aspect of the dining experience.
- Extensive knowledge of drink preparation and service.
- Extensive wine knowledge.
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $11.75 plus tips, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401K savings plan. Additionally, we offer paid time off and a range of voluntary products, such as critical illness, group accident, and pet insurance.
