Family Reunification Specialist

As a UC Therapist - Family Reunification Specialist, you'll play a critical role in helping these children feel safe and assessed their needs. You'll join a team that takes action, providing exceptional care and helping children reunite with their family.

Responsibilities may include:

* Conducting initial assessments
* Developing and implementing therapeutic plans
* Holding weekly individual and group therapy sessions
* Coordinating reunification plans
* Facilitating transfers
* Attending trainings, meetings, and supervision sessions
* Preparing reports and required documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

This position requires a master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field of study from an accredited college. Must be license eligible. Bilingual English and Spanish required. Prior experience working with children and families from diverse cultures with sensitivity to cultural differences and norms, strongly preferred. Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license with at least 3 years driving experience in the US to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany. Must also pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate insurance coverage. Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries. Documentation of immunity to vaccine preventable diseases or the willingness to receive vaccination or seek an exemption.
