As a key contributor to our patient-centered care model, you will work closely with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and promote a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Patient Care under the direction of the RN, including basic patient care functions, ADLs, ambulation, and vital signs.
- Assist with Daily Living Activities and comfort measures, such as hygiene, nutrition, elimination, and physical comfort measures.
- Participate in Hourly Patient Rounding to ensure patient needs are met and concerns are addressed.
- Communicate Effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, using AIDET and safety communication techniques.
- Document Patient Care in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and maintain accurate records.
- Contribute to a Safe Environment by following proper hand hygiene, maintaining patient rooms and unit areas, and utilizing proper body mechanics and patient safe handling devices.
- Education: Rising junior or senior, or graduation from a State-approved program for Certified Nursing Assistants or Patient Care Tech Program.
- Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS) with American Heart Association.
- Skills: Ability to follow detailed directions, strong interpersonal skills, clear verbal and written communication, and ability to work individually and as part of a team.
