Job Title: Dental Assistant and Sterilization Technician

We are seeking an experienced and motivated dental assistant and sterilization technician to join our team at G-DENTAL by Igor Pasisnitchenko DDS PA. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of sterilization and infection control.

Responsibilities:
  • Sterilize dental instruments and equipment for each patient, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Organize and lay out instruments for the dentist's use, handing instruments and other materials during procedures.
  • Take and develop x-rays into the system and take impressions for casts.
  • Use suction and swabs to keep patients' mouths clear and dry during procedures.
  • Proficiently make temporary crowns and bridges.
  • Obtain patients' dental records and question them about their medical history, recording information for the dentist's reference.
  • Advise patients on dental care and make them feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
  • Perform lab duties such as pouring models, fabricating whitening trays, night guards, and retainers.
  • Set up rooms for all operative procedures and turn over rooms in an efficient manner.
  • Seat patients and obtain consents.

  • Team player with an enthusiastic attitude.
  • Caring and friendly demeanor.
  • Eager to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Ability to be proactive and take initiative.
  • Great computer and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multi-task.
  • Must be able to talk and listen to patients.
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace.
  • Experience in a dental office required.
  • Able to make temporary crowns and bridges.
  • Ability to present and close treatment plans (when needed).
  • Experience with Dentrix.
