We are seeking a skilled CNC Laser Operator to join our team at a Tulsa-based fabrication shop.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily setup and operation of one or more CNC laser or cutting machines for a variety of manufacturing products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily machine start up and shutdown procedures on CNC cutting equipment.
  • Perform typical laser cutting operations.
  • Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of cutting equipment and work area in accordance with company standards and manufactures machine recommendations.
  • Ensure production schedule follow through as allocated by the scheduling department.
  • Perform some machine alignment procedures and optic cleaning to keep equipment at peak operating performance.
  • Promote and maintain company quality standards throughout every process.

Requirements:

  • One (1) or more year of experience operating a CNC Laser or similar CNC cutting machines.
  • Ability to understand complex written and oral instructions.
  • Understanding and capable of reading blueprints.
  • Physical activity is normally required on the job. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
  • Skill in performing accurate arithmetic functions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; using decimals, percentages, fractions, and ratios.
  • Basic mechanical principles of machine setups, operations, and materials.
  • General knowledge of sheet metal fabricating and assembly practices.
  • Some knowledge with programming is necessary for operation and calibration.
  • High School diploma or GED, preferred.
